Ian P, Saturday, 28 January 2012 @ 10:36 Another one of those little aircraft that it’s hard not to like, the Rebuplic Seabee was born in the immediate aftermath of World War II, as Republic’s attempt to get into the expected massive boom in civil aviation.
Although the market may not have quite grown as fast as some people expected, the Seabee’s unusual looks and excellent capabilities carried it through and it is still a very popular aircraft 60 years later.
Now, with the support of owners and operators of the type, KC Flight Shop have produced this little aircraft for use in Microsoft Flight Simulator X, available to buy as a download from their website. For the full Press Release including a features list, please click on “Read More”, below.

Ian P, Friday, 27 January 2012 @ 15:28 You may remember a while ago that Airport Enhancement Services developer Oliver Pabst released a test version of a major update to AES, dubbed version 2.20. Now, as a result of that testing and with the faults in it fixed, the update has been released with some new airports supported and one updated, as version 2.21.
Alongside the most obvious visual changes of new models, a number of fixes and improvements have been implemented with AES2.21, but rather than try and list them here, if you want to know exactly what has changed, we suggest that you take a look at the release notes (pdf). The full list of airports now supported is available here and the new version can be downloaded, as well as credits for your new airports purchased, at simMarket, here.

The OV-10 Bronco is a unique looking COIN (Counter Insurgency) aircraft, with a reputation for durability and excellent cockpit visibility. To purchase your boxed copy, click here – or if you missed the download version release, that is still available as well, here.
